SawSage Lite – Gratis Wavetable-Synthesizer von KEYS
Der Name des VST-Plug-ins ist ein Kofferwort aus den englischen Begriffen „sawtooth“ (dt. Sägezahn) und „sausage“ (dt. Wurst) und wird wie letzteres Wort ausgesprochen. Hinter dem humorvollen Namen verbirgt sich ein moderner Wavetable-Synthesizer, mit dem ihr eigene Wavetables und einzigartige Sounds erstellen könnt. Besonders an SawSage (Lite) ist, dass sich dank der Wavetable-Synthese zusätzlich zu den 16 Wavetables individuelle Wellenformen in die beiden Oszillatoren einzeichnen lassen, um neue Klänge zu erschaffen.
Auch markante FM-Sounds und eine breite Pulsweitenmodulation sind schnell umsetzbar. Eine üppige Filter-Sektion mit 12 verschiedenen Filter-Typen sorgt für spannende Klangfarben. Die vielseitige Modulationsmatrix weiß in Kombination mit den LFOs den Sound zu beleben. Inspirierende Sequenzen können mit dem 16-Step-Sequencer erzielt werden. Eine Effektsektion mit Equalizer und Chorus ist ebenfalls vorhanden. SawSage Lite enthält einige ausgewählte Presets, doch es lassen sich auch eigene Sounds kreieren.

With the VST plug-in SawSage, KEYS for the first time presents a self-made exclusive Wabetable synthesizer for Windows, which you can download here in a free lite edition. This synthesizer is suitable for current electronic music such as EDM, house, dance, trance, dub, trap and even for retro sounds.
The name of the VST plug-in is a portmanteau of the terms "sawtooth" and "sausage" and is pronounced just like the latter word. Behind the humorous name is a modern wavetable synthesizer, with which you can create your own wavetables and unique sounds. What is special about SawSage (Lite) is that – thanks to the wavetable synthesis – in addition to the 16 wavetables, individual waveforms can be drawn into the two oscillators to create new sounds.
Distinctive FM sounds and a wide pulse width modulation can also be implemented quickly. A lush filter section with 12 different filter types provides exciting timbres. The versatile modulation matrix, in combination with the LFOs, is able to liven up the sound. Inspiring sequences can be achieved with the 16-step sequencer. An effects section with equalizer and chorus is also available. SawSage Lite contains a few selected presets, but you can also create your own sounds.
